Sautéed Sun Dried Morels

  1. Soak morels overnight. Rinse thoroughly to remove debris.
  2. Heat a cast iron pan over medium heat. Add in soaked morels & stir frequently to prevent sticking to the pan.
  3. Once excess water has been evaporated, add 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
  4. Lower heat & add chopped shallots, garlic, or seasoning of choice.
  5. At the end, add butter & desired liquid flavourings (ie. soy sauce, stock, lemon juice).
  6. Plate, and garnish with chopped fresh green herbs (parsley, chives, etc) and black pepper if desired.
  7. Enjoy!
